Wayne Hicks-Vision Pastor
I am the Vision Pastor for Arlington First Church of the Nazarene. I have been the pastor here for the past seven years. I have been in the ministry full-time for 28 years. I have also had the privilege of pastoring in Amarillo , TX , Oklahoma City , OK , and Houston , TX . I served as an associate pastor in Kansas City , MO and in Bakersfield , CA .
My wife, Judy, and I are both from Missouri . We met at Mid-America Nazarene College in Olathe , KS . We have been married for more than 35 years. We have one son, Ryan. Judy is a career teacher. We enjoy traveling, camping, and boating.
I started attending a Nazarene church when I was 15 years of age in Malden , MO. I graduated from MANC in 1974, and from Nazarene Theological Seminary in 1984. I am very involved in the district, regional and general church. I was not a Nazarene by birth, but by choice. Judy is a third generation Nazarene. Ryan is planning on being a Nazarene minister. He graduated from Southern Nazarene University in Bethany , OK in May, 2008 with a degree in Religion and Ministry.
God has truly blessed our family with a great extended family called Nazarenes! We have family and friends around the world. We count it a privilege to be allowed to serve God as a parsonage family.

Randy Marquis-Children's Pastor
Marci Marquis- Minister of Music

We are Pastors Randy and Marci Marquis. We met at church in Wichita, Ks. when we were 9 and 11. We grew up together and have now been married for 17 years. Randy and Marci both attended Mid America Nazarene College (now University) in Olathe, Ks. and Marci graduated from Friends University in 1996.
We had been serving in the church in the areas of children’s and music ministries and both felt God’s call on our lives to serve Him in a full-time capacity. Just two days after Marci graduated, we received the call to come to Arlington to serve and minister with the wonderful Arlington First family.
The Lord has since blessed us with two terrific daughters. Meleah is 10 and Morgan is 7. Randy is a HUGE fan of Nascar and loves hangin’ out with his girls. He has a passion for seeing kids come to Christ.
Marci enjoys digital scrap-booking and she is finishing up her studies in preparation for ordination as a deacon in the Church of the Nazarene in the spring of 2009. In music ministry, she is believes in passion over performance.
We have come to know and love this family we call Arlington First.

Marcia Nikl-Youth Pastor
I am the pastor of Sacred Fire Ministries, whose mission is to minister

years. I was born and raised in Upstate New York. I am married to Jerry and
have two married sons Jason and wife Rachael, Justin and wife Tasha. I have two
grandchildren, Whitney and Nathan. I took home study courses through the
Church of the Nazarene and was ordained in April of 2003. I love to take our youth out into the community to experience serving
and giving to others- we do this in the Eden Terrace Retirement home,
Feeding the Homeless in Fort Worth , serving at the Arlington Life Shelter,
and helping out at Mission Arlington.

James Robertson-Pastor Emeritus
I began pastoring in 1939 in Northeast Texas . In 1942 I was ordained in the Church of the Nazarene. Also in 1942 I married the love of my life, Gladys, and she faithfully served with me in ministry until God called her home in 1998. In 1948 I graduated from Bethany Nazarene College (now Southern Nazarene University ). Over these sixty plus years I have pastored in Texas, Arkansas, and Oklahoma including pastoring Arlington First Church of the Nazarene from 1950-1960. I transferred from the pastorate in 1972 and entered the field of evangelism. It was my privilege to preach in churches in many states while having my residence in Arlington . In 1993, I rejoined the AFCN staff in my present position as Pastor Emeritus (or as otherwise known “Pastor PapPaw”). Gladys and I have two daughters, Ann Adams and Sue Smith, who also attend AFC. Even though I am now 87 years of age, I come to the office at least 60 hours a week. I do this because I love God and people.
